The Prototype Test Engineer is responsible for developing procedures and equipment that will both ensure quality of all production products as well as validate design goals. This engineer will need to have a fundamental understanding of how the cold plate function and work in order to develop these test systems. This is an electromechanical role.
Mikros Technologies liquid cooling systems are deployed in large AI data centers and help to increase the energy efficiency of these sites. We also make active liquid cooling systems that are utilized in semiconductor test equipment for providing fast thermal control to maintain a constant temperature under a varying heat load.

What will you do?
Review designs for testing requirements.
Support manufacturing with failure analysis, and tester debugging, reduce intermittent failures and downtime of test equipment.
Generate reports and analysis of test data.
Prepare recommendations for testing and documentation of procedures to be used from the product design phase through to initial production.
Review test equipment designs, data and RMA issues with customers regularly
- Ability to research and determine applicable testing standards
Design, and direct engineering and technical personnel in fabrication of testing and test control apparatus and equipment
Analyze and interpret test data and prepares technical reports for use by test engineering and management personnel
Ability to use computer software and hardware to conduct tests on machinery and equipment.
Ability to program
Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy
How will you get here?
Education:
Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering degree
Experience:
5 years of related experience preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Test Engineering or related
Strong understanding of mechatronics and/or electromechanical systems
3-5 years of relevant experience is preferred
Previous test experience in a manufacturing or R & D environment is preferred
Knowledge with metrology of fluid systems is a plus
Experience with Python or other scripting languages preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
