The purpose of this role is to setup and operate robotic platforms dedicated to high-throughput human sample analysis in a fast-paced GXP environment.
Job Duties:
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail to deliver quality and accurate results.
- Deliver customer satisfaction by listening to and exceeding customer expectations.
- Work independently and as part of a team, with integrity, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- Use and maintain electronic laboratory notebooks to document experiments.
- Perform routine cleaning, calibrations and verifications of a range of analytical instruments and liquid handling platforms.
- Daily reagent startup and shutdown of instruments.
- Troubleshoot errors with quick resolution.
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate of Science degree with a minimum 3-5 years of experience in robotics and/or automation.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences, Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience.
- Authorization to work in the country indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Experience with laboratory liquid handler(s) (e.g. Beckman/Hamilton/Tecan) a plus.
- Experience with Serology (bead-based antibody) and/or Molecular (real time PCR) assays.
- Experience in instrument validation.
- Experience in a regulated environment (GxP).
Position is Full Time, Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point, PA are encouraged to apply.
