Jack Walsh

Hi, I'm Jack, the founder of Robotics Engineer Jobs, and co-founder of Himalayas (himalayas.app), a remote-only career platform serving 200k+ registered users, and Cavuno (cavuno.com). I have a technical background in engineering and psychology (UNSW), where I also worked as a research assistant designing and programming VR experiments focused on motion tracking and spatial computing work that was published in the Journal of Experimental Psychology. I work with robotics hiring data daily, tracking which companies are posting, what they're paying, which skills appear most in job descriptions, and where the industry is heading. I also have a strong interest in robotics and the way in which the industry is rapidly accelerating, including in industrial and domestic fields. My background in engineering, research, and career tools is what shapes the content on this site. All the posts on this site are grounded in real hiring data in the robotics industry based on what I see daily. I'm currently based in Sydney, Australia.
