Vention

Vention provides a cloud-based industrial automation platform - design, programming, motion control, and monitoring tools - powering over 28,000 machines across 4,000+ factories worldwide.

Vention builds a cloud-based industrial automation platform that ties together machine design software, motion control hardware, and Physical AI so that automated equipment and robot cells can be designed, programmed, deployed, and operated within days rather than months. The stack spans four tools under the Vention Manufacturing Automation Platform (MAP): MachineBuilder for designing equipment and robot cells, MachineLogic for programming them, MachineAnalytics for monitoring deployed machines, and AI-powered engineering assistance layered across the workflow. The boundary between software and hardware is deliberately thin - designs in MachineBuilder map onto the motion control and cloud-connected hardware the company supplies, and MachineAnalytics closes the loop from the deployed cell back to the platform.

Field deployment is substantial: more than 28,000 machines powered across over 4,000 factories on five continents. Customers range from SMEs to Fortune 500 manufacturers. Verticals include automotive, aerospace and defense, consumer goods, intralogistics, food and beverage, industrial goods, and research institutions - use cases that span robot cell integration, machine tending, assembly, and material handling.

The company is headquartered in Montreal, Canada, with an office in Berlin and deployments across North America and Europe. Technical domains in scope for the platform include industrial automation, robotics, physical AI, machine design software, motion control, cloud connectivity, operation monitoring and analytics, and AI-powered engineering tools.
