CircuitHub

CircuitHub runs an automated electronics factory using factory-scale robotics and a modern software stack for rapid prototyping and turnkey PCB assembly, with quoting and supply chain optimization tools.

CircuitHub is an automated electronics manufacturing company that builds and operates what it describes as the first automated electronics factory built around a modern tech stack. Founded in 2011, the company uses factory-scale robotics to deliver rapid prototyping and turnkey PCB assembly for hardware companies. Its primary US location is in South Deerfield, Massachusetts, and it also operates in Europe.

The technical work spans factory-scale robotics and industrial automation on the hardware side, and a manufacturing software platform plus supply chain optimization algorithms on the software side. The Grid is the customer-facing platform: manufacturers upload PCB design files and receive ready-to-order quotes for turnkey assembly in minutes. PartRank is a proprietary algorithm used for supply chain optimization. The stated result of the automation-first approach is a 10x improvement in throughput over conventional manufacturing workflows.

Deployed scale to date: more than 20,000 engineers served, over 1.57 million boards delivered, and 87.4 million parts placed. 81% of full turnkey orders ship within 3 days as standard. Customers include Tesla, Meta, Formlabs, and Zipline, serving verticals such as autonomous vehicles, satellites and aerospace, 3D printing, and robotics. The company is backed by Y Combinator, Google Ventures, and Plural.
