Adaptyv

Adaptyv runs an automated cloud lab that turns digitally uploaded protein sequence designs into standardized experimental validation data in under three weeks via an API-driven workflow.

Adaptyv operates a cloud lab for protein designers: an automated wet-lab workflow that takes protein sequence designs submitted digitally and returns experimental validation data in under three weeks. The system covers ordering, execution, and analysis of experiments end to end. Designs are uploaded through a command-centre interface or a comprehensive API, executed on automated assay hardware under standardized protocols, and returned as structured "data packages" - labeled outputs engineered to be reproducible and comparable across runs and customers.

The technical domains span protein design and protein engineering on one side and wet-lab automation, automated assays, and data standardization on the other. The stated goal of the automation layer is a fully automated lab experience in which protocol variation is removed from the measurement, so that experimental results can feed back into AI/ML model training loops as consistent ground truth. For teams running large numbers of computational designs, the API supports an AI-first workflow: upload designs, dispatch assays programmatically, and pull structured results back into downstream analysis.

Alongside the platform, Adaptyv runs Proteinbase, a public hub for sharing experimental protein design data - including negative results - linked to the computational predictions and design methods that produced them. The emphasis is on open science, standardized benchmarks, and the reproducibility and comparability of experimental data. Verticals served include biotech, protein design, protein engineering, and AI-driven drug discovery and synthetic biology.
