Mechatronics Engineer (Water & Industrial Systems) – Cape Town - R20 000 to R25 000
We are recruiting a Mechatronics Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team focused on the design, automation, and optimisation of advanced water filtration and treatment systems
Key highlights of the role:
- Design and integrate mechanical, electrical, and control systems for industrial equipment
- Develop and support automation solutions (PLC, HMI, VSDs)
- Commission, test, and troubleshoot systems on-site and in-house
- Contribute to continuous improvement, compliance, and technical documentation
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechatronics or related engineering discipline
- 2–5 years of experience in mechatronic systems, automation, or industrial environments
- PLC experience (Siemens preferred) and strong understanding of sensors, motors, and control systems
- Experience in water treatment or process industries is advantageous
