About

We founded Rerun after experiencing how central visualization tooling is to bringing computer vision and AI to the physical world. We've previously worked together for several years, where great tools were key to our success. After rebuilding those tools for multiple products, we saw how they could be made powerful and general enough to truly accelerate the whole industry.

Rerun is a data platform for Physical AI that helps you understand and improve complex processes involving rich multimodal data like 2D, 3D, text, time series, and tensors. It combines simple and flexible data logging with a powerful visualizer and query engine, designed specifically for domains like robotics, spatial computing, embodied AI, computer vision, simulation, and any system involving sensors and signals that evolve over time. We're building both an open-source SDK and a commercial data platform.

RIVR

RIVR is a Swiss robotics company founded in April 2023 as a spin-off from ETH Zurich's Robotic Systems Lab. Led by CEO Marko Bjelonic, the company develops wheeled-legged robots designed to solve autonomous last-mile delivery - specifically the final 100 yards to doorsteps for packages and food. The robots combine wheeled-legged hardware with neural networks and data-driven systems to navigate real-world obstacles including stairs, cluttered spaces, and gates. RIVR positions this integration as "Physical AI," emphasizing on-device intelligence and a data flywheel approach to improve physical-world interaction at scale. The technical foundation spans autonomous navigation, perception for obstacle negotiation, and neural network architectures tailored to the constraints of last-mile delivery environments. The wheeled-legged platform addresses a specific gap: delivering to doorsteps requires negotiating infrastructure designed for humans, not wheeled systems. RIVR's approach combines the efficiency of wheels on flat terrain with legged mobility for steps and irregular surfaces. The company reports that customers are already demanding tens of thousands of units, indicating early traction in logistics and food delivery verticals. RIVR's stated mission is to give one human the power of 1,000 robots, reflecting an ambition to scale autonomous delivery through a data-driven model. The company projects that its fleet will generate more daily data than YouTube within four years, a claim tied to its emphasis on using deployment data to continuously refine robot behavior. With its roots in ETH Zurich's research environment and a focus on deploying robots in one of the supply chain's most challenging segments, RIVR represents an academic-to-industry transition targeting a well-defined but technically demanding problem space.

OffWorld

OffWorld develops AI-powered swarm robotic platforms designed to operate autonomously in extreme, unstructured environments where traditional industrial machines cannot function effectively. The company's core technology centers on swarm robotics - multiple autonomous units that navigate complex terrain independently while coordinating toward shared operational objectives. Led by CEO Jim Keravala, OffWorld takes a deployment-first approach: proving technology in terrestrial mining operations before expanding to space applications on the Moon and Mars. The company has validated two primary robotic systems in field conditions. The Micro Fractor serves as a rock treatment unit for mining operations, while the Collector functions as an autonomous robotic system designed for mission-critical tasks. Both platforms rely on AI systems that handle autonomous navigation and decision-making in environments with variable terrain, limited infrastructure, and unpredictable conditions - the kind of edge cases that define extreme-environment robotics. OffWorld's technical team draws primarily from backgrounds in robotics, AI, autonomous systems, and space engineering. This expertise base reflects the company's dual mandate: solving immediate industrial challenges on Earth while building the technological foundation for off-world operations. The swarm architecture addresses fundamental constraints of remote operations - bandwidth limitations, communication delays, and the need for systems that can adapt without constant human supervision. Current deployments focus on mining industry applications, with planned expansion to lunar and Martian environments where similar autonomy requirements apply at greater scale.

Boston Dynamics

We're a team of engineers and researchers who've spent decades building robots that can handle the messy, unpredictable nature of the real world. Starting from our roots at MIT's Leg Lab back in 1992, we've developed robots like Spot, Atlas, and Stretch that don't just look impressive in videos - they actually work in power plants, construction sites, warehouses, and hazardous environments where we'd rather send a machine than put people at risk. What drives us is the belief that robots should amplify human capabilities, not replace them. We've seen Spot inspect tall structures so workers don't have to climb ladders, and we're developing Stretch to take on physically demanding warehouse jobs. Our engineering approach combines deep expertise in dynamic simulation, perception systems, and practical industrial design. We're constantly learning from our customers and iterating based on real-world feedback because we know that's the only way to build robots that truly make a difference.

nextbike

In 2004, our founders in Leipzig realized something important: cities needed better mobility solutions. Traditional transportation was causing congestion, pollution, and frustration. They saw an opportunity to transform urban landscapes through bike sharing. What started as a local initiative has grown into Europe's leading bike-sharing provider, operating in over 300 cities across 20+ countries. For two decades, we've been pioneers of the mobility revolution, developing innovative bike-sharing solutions that integrate seamlessly with public transport. From classic bicycles to e-bikes and cargo bikes, our multimodal approach makes sustainable mobility accessible to millions. In 2021, we joined the TIER family to create an industry-first multimodal micromobility platform, accelerating our vision of making cities more livable, one ride at a time.
