To build on this team we are searching for a highly qualified Robotics Field Service Engineer. The ideal candidate will be capable of balancing multiple diverse projects, have a high technical aptitude, integrity, and a broad experience in automation. This position includes roughly 70-80% local, non-overnight travel and 10% overnight travel. When not at a customer facility, you will work on-site at Mission in Holland, MI.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, upgrade, troubleshoot and/or repair automation equipment
Perform troubleshooting and field repairs on wide variety of robot models and peripheral equipment
Provide technical phone support and troubleshooting assistance to customers
Perform preventive maintenance and evaluate/audit customer equipment
Evaluate robot cycle times and make improvements when possible
Robot repairs (predominately on FANUC robots)
Work with Build and Controls teams while installing new equipment at customer facilities
Assist customers with equipment upgrades, modifications, and retrofits to existing system
Provide on-site customer training
Work safely and adhere to safety standards
Accurately complete and submit service and expense reports in a timely manner
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the automation industry
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with robotics and/or automation
Understand diagrams and schematics including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and bill of materials
Work efficiently with little supervision
Ability to utilize all available resources to troubleshoot and repair (internal company teammates, OEM suppliers, etc.)Preferred knowledge of FANUC iRVision, Roboguide, DCS, CollisionGuard, SpotTool, ArcTool, etc.
