Your tasks
- You will contribute to the development of software components for mobile robots operating in dynamic warehouse and industrial environments.
- Your work will span the integration of robotics modules, the creation of new applications, and the improvement of existing capabilities across different robots’ autonomy stacks.
- You will test and evaluate your developments in our in-house test warehouse and at selected customer sites, working closely with a team of robotics experts.
- Depending on your background, your contributions may include robot navigation, perception pipelines, object detection, or machine learning–driven behaviors.
Requirements
- You have a Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- You have already gained 3+ years of experience developing software for robotic systems.
- You impress with your strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
- You bring a solid understanding of robotics fundamentals, ideally including perception, navigation, or manipulation.
- You have a structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
- You are fluent in English; German skills are a plus.
- You have integrated your solution on a robot with a safety system.
- We’ll give you extra points if:
- Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System).
- Experience contributing to shipped robotic products is an advantage.
- The job is mostly done on-site, so ideally you live in/close to Munich.
