The impact you will make As a Lead RPA Engineer on the FinThrive Intelligent Automation and Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, developing, and optimizing robotic process automation (RPA) solutions that transform the healthcare revenue management experience. Operating as both a technical expert and a mentor, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable automation frameworks and drive the adoption of best practices across our RPA initiatives.

What you will do

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-performing, secure, and scalable RPA solutions across multiple products and platforms
  • Analyze complex business processes and identify automation opportunities that drive efficiency and value
  • Engage in requirements gathering, solution design sessions, and architecture reviews with stakeholders, product managers, and developers
  • Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to RPA engineers and developers
  • Collaborate on product planning, sprint estimation, and prioritization of automation projects
  • Develop and maintain robust documentation, including process maps, solution designs, and deployment guides
  • Build and execute automated unit, system, and integration tests for RPA bots
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards in all RPA solutions
  • Support quality assurance in test case creation and validation of automated solutions
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings, proactively communicate status and blockers
  • Demo automation solutions to business stakeholders and product owners
  • Contribute to and advocate for standardization of automation practices, frameworks, and reuse of components across the organization
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and third-tier support for deployed bots

What you will bring

  • 8+ years of experience in RPA engineering, automation development, or process improvement roles
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with leading RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism)
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end process automation, including process analysis, design, bot development, testing, and deployment
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, C#, Java, VB.NET)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), APIs, and integration patterns
  • Strong knowledge of database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Azure SQL)
  • Familiarity with Agile development life cycle and Scrum methodologies
  • Strong leadership, planning, and time management skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate complex automation concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Team player with a passion for continuous learning, innovation, and shared success
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Visio, Power Point, PDF and Word
  • Travel required: Minimal
