We are seeking a motivated and talented Controls Intern to join our robotics R&D team. This position provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and testing of control systems that power our advanced robotic platforms.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and refinement of control algorithms, robotics sub systems, and embedded features.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, software, and electronics teams to ensure smooth integration of control systems.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving control-related challenges to improve system performance.
  • Learn and apply modern control techniques, embedded methods, and robotics automation concepts.
  • Help prepare documentation such as wiring diagrams, control architecture notes, and test reports.
  • Participate in design and technical reviews, incorporating feedback into control features.
  • Contribute to prototyping, sensor integration, calibration, and testing of robotic systems.
  • Assist in developing and improving automated testing setups for control systems.
  • Seek mentorship and engage in continuous learning to grow professionally.
  • Manage assigned tasks efficiently and support timely completion of R&D milestones.
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain high engineering and documentation standards.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of control systems, robotics, and automation fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with motors, motor drivers, sensors, and embedded hardware.
  • Experience with microcontrollers and programming in C/C++ (or similar).
  • Basic knowledge of control system design, simulation, or modeling tools.
  • Understanding of wiring practices, schematics, and basic electronics debugging.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
